To deploy an app you will need to login to Nodana. Login methods include Nostr, Lightning and GitHub. You will then need to top up your balance using a Lightning wallet or WebLN.
The focus from the start has been to allow people to use Nodana without providing any personal details. If you login with GitHub only your public data is asked for. Logging in with Nostr or Lightning is completeley anonymous. Payments are also anonymous as they're conducted over the Lightning network.
All apps come with their own url which is shown immediately after you deploy. It's also available on each app detail page with lots of other useful information about your app.
When Nodana officially supports a newer version then you will see an update button for your app on the app page. You can also start, stop and delete an app from this page.
All charges are rounded to the nearest cent and there is a minimum charge of $0.01 cent for a running/stopped apps. Charges will be automatically applied at the end of each day (UTC). If you choose to delete your app manually then there will be a charge at that point instead with a minimum charge of $0.05. Please note that charges still apply for stopped apps so you must delete your app to prevent further charges.
Once your balance runs below zero all of your apps will be stopped automatically at the end of that day (UTC). You will need to increase your balance in order to start them up again. Any apps that remain unused for 48 hours after being stopped automatically will be deleted.
If you refer a user to Nodana (using your referral code) then we will pay 25% of their first payment to your Lightning Address. This payment will be made as soon as payment is received from the user you referred. Referral links can be pointed at any page, not just the homepage. Just ensure you add the query string in the correct format.
