You will need to login to Nodana to be able to deploy services. You can do this using your GitHub account or using a Lightning wallet that supports lnauth such as Phoenix or Breez.
The focus from the start has been to allow people to use Nodana without providing any personal details. If you login with GitHub we only ask for public data and Lightning login is completeley anonymous. Payments are also anonymous as they're conducted over the Lightning network. We don't want your email address, credit card details or shoe size.
All services come with their own dedicated url which you can use to connect to your service.
When Nodana officially supports a version that is later than the one your service is running then you will see an Update button for your deployment on the Deployments page. You can also redeploy at any time which allows you to provide new config values for your service but keep the same url and volume.
Charges will be automatically applied at the end of each day (UTC). If you choose to delete your service manually then there will be a charge at that point instead. Please note that charges still apply for stopped services so you must delete your service to prevent further charges.
Once your sats runs below zero all of your services will be stopped automatically at the end of that day (UTC). You will need to add more sats in order to start them up again. Any services that remain unused after being stopped automatically will be deleted after five days.
Yes, we are in beta testing at the moment and will be for a while. This means that at times things might go wrong but hopefuly not too often. Keep this in mind when running software on Nodana.
