Affiliates
Each user is automatically assigned one reusable, random eight-character referral code when they first sign in. The code is created once and stays the same. Share your link with friends, your community, or on social media.
Sharing your link
You can send visitors to either the Nodana website or directly to the app with your code:

Replace H7K2M9Q4 with your own code. The Affiliates page provides the website version. Every button on the website that opens the app will carry the remembered code to the login page, including after visitors browse other pages.
The first referral code is remembered in the visitor’s browser with no time limit, then carried through GitHub or email magic-link sign-in, including MFA when required. The referral is attached only after sign-in completes successfully. Browser storage must be available to remember a code across visits; clearing it or switching browsers before starting sign-in can lose the attribution. Once a new user signs in with the code, their referral is attached permanently and cannot be replaced by another code. Existing users cannot become new referrals.
Earning referral credit
Both users will receive extra credit equal to 25% of the amount paid for the referred user’s first credit package, after that purchase settles. The reward is calculated from the purchase price, excluding package bonuses or other free credit. The referred user receives their bonus on top of the package’s usual credit, including any existing package bonus.

For example, a $60 first purchase gives the referred user $87 total credit ($72 package credit plus $15 referral credit), and gives the referrer $15 credit.
Signing up alone will not earn a reward. Each referral will be rewarded once; later purchases will not generate additional referral rewards.
Earned credit can only be used to run nodes on Nodana and cannot be withdrawn.
Tracking referrals
The Referrals tab will show the users you’ve referred. Their status will be Pending until their first credit purchase settles, then Credited once the rewards have been added to both accounts.
Pending referrals do not expire. There is no deadline for the referred user’s first purchase.
